September 2016 Fab Bag Review: Feel Pretty(4th Anniversary Edition)

So I’m back with a review on this month’s Fab Bag! For those who don’t know, Fab Bag is a beauty subscription service in India which sends 4-5 sample size/full size products every month in a cute bag. The basic concept is to try the products & buy the full size ones if you wish to.
This month is a special one because it marks the 4th Anniversary of Fab Bag! I was also given a few options to choose an eye makeup and an accessory of our choice( the brand of the accessory rather) . The bag says ‘My Life May Not Be Perfect, ‘ on one side & ‘…but my lashes most definitely are,’ on the other side which is super cute,haha!
So here are the products are received-
1)Be A Bombshell Eye Shadow Crayon- Shade: Stone Henge. Received a full sized product worth Rs. 1200 . It’s a beautiful silver coloured crayon, lightly pigmented but quite shimmery. Easy to apply, perfect for evenings to give a subtle look. I hardly wear eye shadow & even if I do, I prefer subtle tones. Hence, this one’s perfect for me!

2) Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Liquid Concealer- FC 11 . Got a full sized product worth Rs. 550. Again, good stuff but I personally don’t wear too much makeup. Already received a concealer in one of my previous bags 2-3 months ago . Might give it away to someone.

3) AVA Face & Body Scrub- Spring Pond. Priced at Rs. 325 for 100 ml & the bottle says that it contains 80 grams of product . Now THIS is what I’m excited to try! I prefer getting skincare products over makeup & I’ve never heard of this brand! It contains no SLS,parabens or sulphates. The key ingredients include the goodness of Aloe Vera gel, mulberry & ashwagandha extract , licorice extract,lemon grass oil, tea tree extract and apricot walnut scrub. Looking forward to try it out!

4)Neemli Tulsi & Clay Body Wrap. Received a 25 grams packet worth Rs. 190. A tablespoon of this product has to be mixed with 1-1.5 tablespoons of water/milk and applied to the body, kept for 15 minutes & then rinsed with water. Perfect for a self-pampering session after a long day at work or on a lazy Sunday!

5)Fashionography Accessory worth Rs. 249
Got a beautiful pair of delicate, butterfly shaped earrings packed in a small velvet pouch for easy storage. Absolutely gorgeous!

Overall, I liked this month’s Fab Bag! To be honest, it didn’t feel like an Anniversary Edition but it did contain some great products, in total amounting to more than triple the value you pay for a bag.
