Happiness ❤ :)

Happiness is a choice, not a result. Nothing will make you happy until you choose to be happy.

Our quest for true happiness never ends. But what IS true happiness? Owning a Ferrari? Having millions of dollars in your bank account? Dining at the most expensive restaurant? Yes, these things do give us happiness, agreed! Should you work hard to make these things come true? Hell yeah! But should you do all this at the cost of your body, mind & soul? No. Let me elaborate. Owning a Ferrari, having a fat bank account..defines the ‘Quantity’ we own. We associate our happiness with this Quantity. But this happiness lasts for a short time. So, while you’re in the rat race, trying to earn millions, don’t forget the ‘Quality’ aspect of your life, because it is something which money will never be able to buy. By ‘Quality,’ I mean your good health, your relationships with peers, family, loved ones, your peace of mind etc. Let me give you an example- What’s the use of working SO much that you have no time for your family? The joy of getting a hug from your wife, mom, siblings, children is something which your heart will cherish forever. The ecstasy & exhilaration offered by spending time with loved ones-Relaxing with them on the sofa, sharing a pizza and watching your favourite show together…is tremendous as compared to sitting alone in the most expensive restaurant & munching away your food.
So I’m not saying that the ‘Quantity’ aspect of life isn’t important, but don’t forget the ‘Quality’ aspect too. Sometimes, the smallest things can be a reason for the delight & cheerfulness on your face.
Happiness doubles on sharing,so share the joy, spread the smile & dance merrily on the tunes of life! Yes, we all have those sad, depressive days. But here’s something you should try the next time you’re unhappy- Go and make someone happy.Buy someone their favourite food, call up someone saying you’re missing them, compliment someone…the smile on their faces will ease your pain & make you smile too. And do what makes your soul happy- listen to your favourite music, watch your favourite show, read some funny jokes, go to Pinterest & read some motivational quotes, talk to a friend..& if nothing works…order a PIZZA!! But don’t let the sadness last for long, it won’t make things better for you.
So SMILE, be happy & live your life to the fullest…make someone smile…help people who are sad or gloomy to bring the beautiful curve of smile back on their face..because we’re all humans and we all go through tough, sad & demotivating periods…but let’s not make them last long. You’re beautiful, you’re wonderful & you’re unique.. 🙂

Keep smiling!:)

I just want to thank you for sharing this. Everyday I’m working with people to help them find their identity and be happy with the person they see when they look in the mirror. People tend to loose hope when they’re trying to be positive in life and something unfortunate happens. I believe that although we may concentrate on being positive and being happy, the world is still real and disappointments do occur. But those disappointments are necessary. I take them as lessons, and it is up to us to not let these “lessons” become something that consumes us and our thoughts, which would result in the showing of our actions.

I completely agree with what you said! We all face obstacles, but we shouldn’t let them consume our thoughts & demotivate us. We should draw strength from our pain, learn our lesson & move ahead with a smile. 🙂
